Taxi Complianace

We are able to carry out a 20 point Motorised Vehicle Plate Test for Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Vehicles. This test must be carried out on vehicles used as a Taxi.

Tachographs

Vehicles that are used for the transport of goods and weigh over 3.5 tonnes when loaded are required to be fitted with a tachograph by law. Tachographs record various information related to the hours driven by individual drivers. We are able to retro-fit a tachograph that now require one.

Class 5 and Class 7 MOT's (Taunton Branch Only)

In addition to standard cars and small vans (Class IV) we are also able to provide MOT tests for Class V vehicles at our Taunton workshop. This is for passenger carrying vehicles with 13-16 passenger seats.

Our skilled technicians are also able to offer MOT tests for 3000-3500kg (Class VII) vehicles at our Taunton workshop.
